Join us Sunday, October 10th 2021, for our annual Walk and 5k Run event at Markham Park. There will be family filled fun following the walk as well as breakfast for participants. This event is focused on raising money for Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization, a non-profit parent support group working to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome in Broward County.
Our 5k Run will begin promptly at 7:30am. 5k registrants will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a race bib with BTAG device for timing. Failure to wear a timing chip during the event will disqualify the participant from being scored in the results. Awards will be given shortly after the race to:
Our walk will begin promptly at 8:15 am led by individuals with Down syndrome. Lunch will be provided after the walk and run. There will Family Fun, Bounce House, Rock Climbing, Raffles, & MUCH MORE!
